Christmas Needs —–One More Family

Posted by Rev Tim under NEWS

The final family we will seek to help this year is one of two daughters. The father of this family was laid off from his work and financial obligatiions overwhelmed him. He thought the best solution was in suicide but messed up that attempt in a horrible manner. He will spend the rest of his life on a ventalator in …a nursing home.

The two girls are 9 and 14 and it is my hope that we can bring some joy to this Christmas season for them.santa23

Christmas 911 Part 1

Posted by Rev Tim under NEWS

Each year we try to help special needs families at Christmas. One of the families we want to help this year is a family of three boys, aged 4, 3, and 2. When the 2 year old was born he had serious birth defects and the doctor said he would only live a few days. He is still here although with serious health challanges. It has been an enormous drain on their finances and we want to make their holiday brighter. I am looking for a few toys for a four year old boy, three year old boy, and two year old that is retarded. I am looking to have Tojays prepare them a Christmas dinner and also give them canned goods that will help in the months to come (people don’t just get hungry at Christmas). If you feel you can contribute in any way please do.

We received 12 cans of Spegettios  and two large boxes of pop corn packages plus $65.  We have some additional items coming this weekend.
